Bartestree displayed energy and determination against an on-fire Kington team with wickets being taken by Annie (run out by Kate), Carly (caught by Caroline), Natasha (run out by Anna) and Deb. Tight overs from Anna and Sonal helped minimise Kington’s batting damage.
Bartestree opened their batting innings with confident running by Deb. Clever, consistent batting from Caroline picked off much-needed singles off the wall. A valiant effort by Kate and Carly as the closing pair secured a boundary but wasn’t enough to win the game.

In between matches, Bartestree enjoyed a tasty and warming cricket tea over at Deb’s house.

Goodrich were 2 players down so Bartestree sportingly loaned them two players, only for Goodrich to sneak the win by 19 runs. Highlights from this match was a maiden over from Deb and two wickets taken in a row by Rebecca (run out by Karen and caught by Deb). Excellent batting by Anna and Kate sadly wasn’t enough to clinch the win but it was a close fought game with Bartestree demonstrating great team spirit and sporting generosity.
