Breaking News - Week 19

The 1st XI moved to within one win of promotion after an excellent 20-point victory away at Netherton. Ryan Trattell claimed four wickets and Max Backhouse three as the hosts were dismissed for 163, before Backhouse (60) and Ethan Lerago (42*) led the Tree to a six-wicket win.
With four games remaining, one more victory will mathematically secure promotion to Division One. Attention also turns to Monday’s rearranged game against Old Swinford, with the Division Two title now firmly in sight.

Elsewhere, the 2nd XI faced a tough trip to league leaders Builth Wells, with Elliot Gale making 58 as the Tree reached 198-9 in reply to 341-5.

The 3rd XI piled up an impressive 289-5 at Eastnor, led by a magnificent 134* from Kevin Wan, his second century of the season. Eastnor chased the target, but Jacob Pratley (40) and Will Mess (2-49) provided further positives.

A huge weekend now awaits, with the Bartestree Sixes returning this Sunday from 11am.
